SPECIAL CHRISTMAS IN JULY MEETING
                       PARTNERS INVITED TO ATTEND
  • This months meeting is to be a themed Christmas in July event. There will be no sponsor, and members are encouraged to bring along their partners to join in this informal evening. Meals will be subsidided by the branch and will only cost $10 per person. Please register with Ray Trinder and pay for your meals when you first arrive at the meeting room.
  • We will take the opportunity at this meeting to review the winning entries in the recent Regional Design Awards. We have obtained the powerpoint presentations of the entries from the State branch so as to enable members to see more of the winning building designs than was possible on the awards night.  All regional winners are encouraged to attend and give a brief overview of their winning design.
This will be a very informal meeting and a great opportunity for those members and interested friends who have not been able to attend a meeting for a while to see some of the great work being produced in the region. Hope you can make it.

Close of Meeting at 8:30 pm approx.

Office Management Software

Following on from my presentation at the June BDAQ meeting, here are the links to the Office Management Software programs that were reviewed

Both software programs will allow you to manage projects, tasks, time keeping and invoicing. They will also keep track of documents (particularly emails), and phone calls.

So if you invoice by time, the software will help you keep track of your time for each project, and push the times into your invoices. If you charge by stages, or percentage of work complete, the software allows you to set up project stages and milestones. You can then track when invoices should be sent, and the project stage information is sent to the invoices.

You can also see if you are running over time / over budget on each project.

As I mentioned in my presentation, I had many difficulties with the install of archioffice. I have had no issues with praesto.
