Why gutters and downpipes?
- Reason 1: One of our country members asked us about the discrepancy between the Australian Standard and the deemed to satisfy provisions of the BCA 2010 Volume 2.
- Reason 2: Roof drainage made it to No 1 on the Building Services Authority Top 10 Defect list in December 2010.
- Reason 3: Our Technical and Education team under director, Glen Place, has been investigating to come up with an answer to our member’s question (see reason 1).
- Reason 4: We want to distribute a Member Alert but it has become pretty complicated so Glen will be explaining the issues first during this masterclass.
All you need is a connection to the internet and a phone. We will provide a toll‐free phone
number to call and a participant code. You phone in and connect to the web site and that’s it. You are part of the event.
