Steve will discuss future directions and marketing initiatives in the pipeline at Tourism Noosa. This should be a topic of interest to all Sunshine Coast designers.

What’s it about: Gutters and Downpipes

Why gutters and downpipes?

1. Reason 1: One of our country members asked us about the discrepancy between the Australian Standard and the deemed to satisfy provisions of the BCA 2010 Volume 2.
2. Reason 2: Roof drainage made it to No 1 on the Building Services Authority Top 10 Defect list in December 2010.
3. Reason 3: Our Technical and Education team under director, Glen Place, has been investigating to come up with an answer to our member’s question (see reason 1).
4. Reason 4: We want to distribute a Member Alert but it has become pretty complicated so Glen will be explaining the issues first during this masterclass.

What you need?

All you need is a connection to the internet and a phone. We will provide a toll‐free phone

number to call and a participant code. You phone in and connect to the web site and that’s it. You are part of the event.

You must register!

Participation is free but we only have 50 places so you must register to get the participant code.

Attend Timber Queensland's "High & Dry" seminar to hear from experts and leaders regarding the issues involved in planning the re-build of exisiting and new housing estates.

A result of widespread devastation across Queensland this summer is the need to make some serious decisions about re-building our future. Planning where and what type of houses can be re-built efficiently and effectively is top of mind for Government and Industry.
